I just finished a Mudbunny, will post pics later, I screwed up the LED hole, offset a tad but other than that, pedal is awesome!  I socket-ed all of the diodes and transistors so I can mess around with some dirt options, also socket-ed the caps C2 C5 C8 and R23 resistor so I can change them to the Green Russian or some of the other muff variations.
So far I am loving this pedal, great tone and will post a build report later when I can get to my good amp and crank it up!

Buffers are great but sometimes they can be a pain when your using a fuzz unless you happen to like that crazy fuzz sound. I like it for certain things for recordings but other than that   NO!

I am going to get that boneyard finished later this weekend with the buffer!
I am tired of running a badmonkey in front of it or my Kingslayer and want the boneyard as just a grab n go single KRANG pedal for those gigs where I have to run thru a plain jane Fender amp  LOL

Does the buffer turn off when you turn off the boneyard? and can you kind of give me a how to as to the wiring of the daughter board?

  How do you put a daughter board into another circuit?
I want to put a klone buffer or mosfet buffer inside my Boneyard and also make it to where I can switch it off and am really scratching my head about to go about hooking it up.

My thoughts are in to daughter board, out to boneyard IN and ground everything but kind of baffled on the 9v part and getting it on a switch.
     
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

I kind of have visions of a big pedal that consists of a Kingslayer to the right and a Boneyard to the left LOL
I have them both separate and they sound amazing together!

Oh I forgot to mention how when soldering the main IC, I accidentally went too far and soldered the holes for R19! That was the value that needed to be tepee'd together with 2 resistors = 392k  Doh!
I was saving that one for last so when I was cleaning up my mess with a desolder braid, the end of C2 got the iron and is melted on the end LOL   ah well...
I inspected the board with a good magnifying glass and everything is clean, no shorts.

WHEW!   
I have a clip of the boneyard (not even going to go into the issues I had with that one!) with the kingslayer boosting it and it is pretty gnarly

fuzz is a tonebender mk1.5
If I get time I will try to make some GOOD clips of the kingslayer in all its glory

guess I am a cowboy now!  cannot wait for the warhead and zero delay coming out !WOOT!

Hey all, I finished my kingslayer today and many thanks to Haberdasher for the tip on using 2 resistors to get the proper value for R19!  Got it wired up and it worked the first time!  I get the motorboat thing on one of the diodes as indicted in the 09.17 update and will try the R11 mod later if needed. So far I am loving the pedal and will try it later tomorrow with a deluxe reverb and give it a workout! One question I have would be about the D2, D3 and D8, D9 diodes. I am using Bat 46 and red LEDs and am wondering if you have to use all of the diodes? They sound good to me as is....  Pedal is sort of like a hotter version of a bad monkey or something with more dirt!  Clips posting later and thank you Madbean for all the hard work you do!  Here are the guts!  Excuse the rats nest because I am still a noob at wire management LOL
I chose the buffered version and I did not have the resistors for the 3PDT switch and had to pair up to get the proper values there as well...

 Just by luck I happen to have a few 62k carbon film resistors that will get me there!

I just got my parts in for the kingslayer and I accidentally ordered for R19 a 392R resistor instead of 392k
I happen to have a 330k laying around and am wondering if that would work or do I need to do another order for that resistor?

I was wondering if it is possible to use the mangler PCB for a tonebender MK 1.5 since after all that is a fuzz face circuit?
Besides the value changes on the caps for C1 - C3 and resistor R2, I was wondering exactly what C4 is doing on the mangler. I can see it is going out of the neg 9v and suspect it will not have any impact on the sound and just helps against an accidental reverse polarity - via that diode? 

Everything else seems to be in order though on that board    nice touch having R3 as the bias for Q2

Answer to my tech question:
I just realized fuzzes are tempermental beasts.
Plugged the silicon version mangler into another amp in my bedroom and I don't hear that noise at all... Could be all the stuff in the living room where I 1st tried it out. Still strange that the PNP version did not make that noise.
Oh and if yall did not know, plugged  a ThunderPuss mosfet booster in front of the silicon mangler and crank the fuzz... it does serious oscillation there!  Not sure if that is normal, goes away when the fuzz is backed off a bit - does not do that with the other NPN Mangler...  Any insights/advise let me know
(new to fuzzes)  ;-)
Overall, happy with the mangler and will use it in a live setting!
Next build for me will be the Boneyard!
