if you want to do a four knob rat i recommend the project at www.beavisaudioresaerch.com  it's a monster with tons of mods! I've built a few of them. and their build docs are awesome. you'll need a big enclosure though.

do yourself a favor and practice with it a little before using it
"for real" take it from me...it is surprizingly easy to blow tons of molten solder all over your project or fingers

have no fear, I've built it a year or so ago. and it's a really nice sounding delay. the modulation can get really severe and seasickness inducing. and it can be really loud in the mix. unlike the carbon copy's

I say avoid it at all costs. I placed 2 orders about a week apart, over 8 months ago. time went by and I totally forgot about it until about 4 months ago. I wrote them several emails demanding status with no reply until just before shipping.the order wasn't packed until feb 3rd and I received them last Saturday. I would have cancelled the order but had long since lost any info like order # etc.. it was only packed in a couple ofpaper envelopes lined on the inside with a single layer of bubble wrap. one of the packages was torn a little bit.  . since the prices were so cheap I ordered tons of stuff, so when It finally did arrive it was like x-mas...tons of stuff to play with.

I'm grinnin' like an idiot right now! can't wait.

+1 I'd love to tackle this one. I have a peice of perfboard prepped for it, but a madbean pcb would definately get me off the starting blocks.

I got a roll of this stuff it's really nice. not too stiff but stays where ya put it. err...that sounds kinda dirty

never mind tried another 7660s and sounds great. no oscilations... full rich tone. seems I just needed to go to bed and rest my brian. those voltages are with the new charge pump. should I be at all concerned with the voltages that are more than a little off? maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.

just finishing up my second sunking build, my first was a success but a little sloppy. this one was much neater with better components. but I'm having some issues. the only part sub was a 470n cap in the tone section instead of 390n. when testing I got only a faint sound. discoverd a reversed electro. fixed that and tested again and it sounded glorious until...I maxed the gain control and when hitting loud chords the circuit would oscilate with a rapid thumping beat until I backed off the gain, it would then stopped oscilating and soung great again. checked my voltages and all but a couple were in range most were .10-.15 high. I tracked down a solder bridge between pins 3 and 4 of the charge pump. fixed that and got only a faint thin tone when tested. I am at a loss. checked the voltages again and all but a few where in range. here are the voltages I got:
