so on a green bean, if i got this right.
if i wanted to play with the fat / bright sounds, id be monkeying around with c5 and c6 right ?
has anybody done this and what did you use ? how did it sound ?
if i was to do switching mods id jumper the switches and pull off c5 and c6 right

years ago you couldnt avoid these things. now its a act of congress to find a good supplier of analog meters. im looking for the regular ones and a selection of the ones that read from the edge.
mostly all i care about is dcv 0-15 or so, maybe even get fancy and take a 15-0-15
might just have to screw the pooch and go digital

i might have to tea-bag this one just to quit thinking about it

i got a toaster oven for christmas and tried my first attempt at baking on a finish. set the oven to 150
and did a coat of etching primer and baked for 30 min (looked great)
first coat of white 150 @ 30 min (looked great with a very small fish-eye)
added a 2nd coat of white (thinking i could cover the fish-eye) 150 @ 30 min

pulled it out only to discover a nasty crinkle on one side. its not totally bad but im wondering if it will get worse as i go, or should i do a do-over
i almost wonder if im shocking the paint from 40 degrees to a nice cozy warm toaster oven
any thoughts?

well, just got done with the noisey cricket. Blew out the cap on the 9v. replaced it but now it sounds like crap. i never got a chance to try it before the cap blew, so i dont know. i hooked it up to a 6x9 and it sounds overdriven almost blown with very little sound. got the amp full blast and barly feel the speaker vibrate. still trying to decide if its a POS or do a do-over

strum a open E and it sounds like a big fart after chinese buffet

finished up a noisey cricket and rushed to test it out.
plugged in the ole wallwart and all hell broke lose! scared the crap out of me !
seems i grabbed the wrong one and gave 13.5v to it.
now i know why caps have a X on the top of them ! LOL

Question about soldering.... Ive never had this problem before.
Usually i heat up the joint and solder jumps to it. I recently started a project from a different supplier and the solder wants to run up the lead rather than cling to the board.
Any ideas ?

I find that I need to tap each side  of the joint to trick the solder to the board

We went to a wedding in Visalia this last weekend. Before going home we stopped off at some antique stores. The last store we went into had 3 knock-off strats and a knock-off tele. i offered $150 for the whole lot and the guy was interested till the ole-lady came around and shot the whole idea down in a flaming ball of glory. Said it was to close to x-mas to be shooting money around like that. I felt like a pouty little kid leaving the shop !

Do NOT fall for the Testors Decal Maker
Its a huge rip off ! It comes with a CD 2 decal sheets (1 clear & 1 white) and a can of spray
after 3 failed attempts to load the software i finally got it to do a force install.
Then all it has is about 30 pre-made model decals, so i click on the import button and I get a message that says i need to buy the full version at a web-link
Huge waste of time, huge waste of money, shattered hopes and dreams 

What jacks do you order from mouser ?
in / out   1/4" jacks.  mouser part #s would be helpful
