Yep, that is strange. I couldn't find a schematic for this one either. I'm assuming you've tried a different guitar cable I'd an iPod works just fine?

Not sure what you mean by off board? its outa the box I'm using this test box set up.
I clipped the jumper while trouble shooting has not changed anything, that I can tell

Gotcha, I didn't realize the stomp was not connected also. My bad. The cap values look right, have you checked the resistor values? D2 and D4 need, the solder needs to flow through the holes. those two look a little starved.

The RUP turned into the Klein Bottle so you almost already do.   The KB has the HPF and LPF on each band. Stick a pair of diodes in the effects loop and ur good 2 go

Probably be able to get the same effects running it into one channel and other effects into both channels. This is a very interesting drive.

And your off board wiring, how does that look? Jumpers are important if they are in the sound path.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Can you post some clear closeup pictures of both sides and your off board wiring. I think you're on the brink with this one.

Have you tried swapping out the opamp with the Motorola metal-can one I sent to see if there's any noticeable difference?
Like I said, I never got around to testing the DIP8 chips to see if they were genuine.
Either way, it is an absolute monster. I'm definitely thinking of building another one to keep for myself!

I tested them both Drew and both sounded good. So anymore Dip8 308s in your stash should be good assuming they are in the same lot.

Damn, that thing looks amazing! You've really been killing it lately! I really need to get around to building one of these. I sold my Rat clone to a buddy for him to use on bass and while I've been having fun with my fuzz pedals, I still kinda miss it.

I really like the cornish stuff, it's all really smooth sounding.

Anything over 25v starts to get rather large in size, usually. 1/4 watt metal film or carbon resistors work well.
