Hey Jimilee, thanks for the reply.

Not sure I know what you mean by the "bipolar" electro cap, but I've added a couple of photos here of the board, and the LM7915 that looks like it may have some oxidization or corrosion - would love folks views on this.  It looks a little 'cakey' to me (maybe damaged by someone using an incorrect power feed?)

EDIT: I've got a line on some NOS NE570 compandor chips that I'll be picking up later this morning; will pop one of those in to see if that's the ticket and report back...

EDIT 2: Tried a NOS NE570 and the same issue persists - 0V at pin 10 of the 4047, and 15V at pin 11.
Is this an EHX or a clone? EHX I'm guessing.

Does that have me have the bipolar electro cap? That was my problem on the first one I built.

I don't see them being able to "force" anyone into a vaccine but then again it might become mandatory if you travel by air or attend large gatherings (ie: concerts).  Then the lawsuits and bickering will start and it will devolve into yet more stuff to divide the country/planet.

Me, I'm doing really well, thanks!  I still have no sense of taste or smell but it seems to be inching back slowly.  I've since tested negative after two positives and am not noticing any other symptoms.  I'd consider myself quite lucky.

My wife took a pretty nasty beating with high fever and more aches and pains but she's on the mend and doing well.
I heard mention of a covid card you get after you get vaccinated.

That was an issue here for a little while, but then people started getting busted.

Haha. Not here! Hell, we have private citizens selling 60-day temporary registrations for ANY vehicle (must have a cash app) for $150  :o

Tell me how THAT works?
Jeeesus, that's insanity. I guess the government there is just as corrupt?

I cant believe that there are pedal scalpers, a weird thought to me and those people are scummy.

No different than the people that get the pre-sale tickets for the latest video game consoles for $450-500 and then turn around and sell them for $800-900 when they are first released.

We have people in my area that are buying up all of the Lysol cleaning products and re-selling for 2-3x the price online. Pittiful!

I had some DMM probes from previous dmms, so I used them.

Wow wow wow! One question, why would you want a buffered tuner out? Seems like the point of a timer out is to get it out of your chain. I'm intrigued.

Maybe I mispoke... its a buffered split, so the tuner is out of the chain, no tone loss going through the rest of the chain.  I'm actually just added it to my 1+1 board, and it works really well.
Ohhhhh, ok,cool. I built something similar, but used an lpb-1 wired in series (I think). If the power  wasn't plugged in and the volume was up (it would t go past unity with no power), it was just a tuner out. I added the boost just because I had it laying around.

Look at the schematic around R19, see if you have a short to ground somewhere between the TL072 Pins 1, 2 and your LED.
