Wow wow wow! One question, why would you want a buffered tuner out? Seems like the point of a timer out is to get it out of your chain. I'm intrigued.

I don't foresee any issues. I pour, wait about 15 minutes and then hit it with one of those long lighters to dissipate most of the air bubbles. 72 hours curing time is ideal.

Attached, as I said, no markings

Yes, maybe can't see as in shadow of the capacitor.
I actually tried just removing the IC1 chip to check pin 4 not bent or something and replaced it and then tried plugging in again and it worked both sides until I flicked the left toggle switch to test that. Could it be the toggle - as the solder there isn't filling the holes like the footswitches.
As an aside, I thought I'd read somewhere that not flooding holes on switches was best as it can lead to a short in the switch, which is why I tried to add solder to just one side. Maybe I misunderstood?
thanks, Rich

I have the same Hakko's and they're cheap and work very well. That said I'd like a pair of the Erems.

You know what I do appreciate about opening this thread is the intense amount of knowledge amongst us pedal geeks. It would seem that the "pedal" part of us also reflects our quest for knowledge in general.
I don't want to get all gushy here, but it's really humbling and inspiring to be part of such an inspired portion of the population. Everyone should have this sort of outlet and the resources attached to it. I'd like to think we represent what "should" happen under troubleshooting circumstances.
I love this place.
You put it perfectly, this place is the best.
