I guess if we're getting into boutique, the VFE pedals are some of the most well thought out pedal in the ideal form factor. I love building them, they always feel so solid.

Wow, that's a whole lot of cool sounds in one box. I'm not sure I'd use most of them in any serious way, but what a lot of fun!

We both know it's not about making the sounds, it's about having the ability to make the sounds. Otherwise, we wouldn't have more pedals than 10 bands could ever use.

I gravitate towards EHX and Ross. I really dig OTA phasers. Madbean's original stuff is fantastic. Rej had some great diet and fuzz stuff. I think I just like pedals.

I previously had checked the LM7815 and the values I was reading were consistent with the documentation and advice provided in this thread. I want to make sure it's still a good idea to swap it out or if there was something else I should be looking for.

You can't break it at this point, I don't see why not.

That's tempting. I always wondered if it was possible to make this work as a pedal. Any idea if a person could feed this into the guitar signal instead of a little speaker?

You could use a wah shell with a momentary on the treadle so it activates when you use it rather than clicking it on.
