Are you measuring just the DC adapter? Try measuring another dc adapter to see what it reads. The last place I lived, the power was just crazy high at night.

I really dig this pedal, I can't believe I waited like 5 years to build it. Check it out if you haven't already. Went together easily over a couple of weeks. Fired right up.

Yep, just your standard 3pdt toggle switch is what you want. It's wired the same way, that way, you have bypass and effected signal.
