I'm set and forget too. Does it melt the solder? Fine, good enough, never ever hit the settings again.

Quote from: sharpan.sv on May 09, 2020, 02:41:59 PMJust reading the tractor beam doc, it was built around the recommended jfets more or less.
I used j113 in Phase 90 clone, works just fine.

Wanted to give props to Jimilee for becoming the Phaser Overlord, that's some OG stuff right there!
Quote from: flanagan0718 on May 08, 2020, 12:36:22 AMPerfect, thank you.Quote from: jimilee on May 08, 2020, 12:25:08 AMGood question. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it. That way you can get the same stuff if you want.Quote from: flanagan0718 on May 07, 2020, 11:39:54 PMMan, that looks great. I'm working on etching myself. What presentation paper did you use?
Hey all,
So it's been a while since I etched any boards or anything. I recently had a couple build requests and figured I'd etch a few to see if I still had the skills.
First I found the layouts I wanted (Hamlet, Hoof, Sounds Like Doom, Sound Saw, and Clean Octave Blend). Then printed the layouts on shiny presentation paper with a laser printer. Then put iron to paper and transferred the layouts to a 4 x 6 and an extra piece of copper clad. Then etched. I'm honestly surprised these even came out on the first try. Here is a picture of the out come. Now it's time to drill an ass load of holes!!!
I also debugged and finished one of the nonworking Triton delay boards from CultureJam. You'll see a build report for that in the next day or so. I need to do a demo for it. Any hoo, feels good to be back at it for a bit. Thanks for reading.

Can someone please tell me which movie/television character this protester reminds me of?
I mean, he's almost identical to some character from something I think I enjoyed watching, but I can't remember. Thought at first it was Vulcan from the Adventures of Baron von Munchausen, but that's not quite it (too much hair).
Yes, I am happy that this is the only thing bothering me at the moment.
Edit: This isn't it either (again, the hair):
Still thinking and searching.
Quote from: madbean on May 04, 2020, 04:23:25 PMThank you sir! My friend got everything but the trimpot. Had a 20 in there and thought it was wrong. Now gotta take out the 200.
There are two areas:
The silkscreen shows (4) 14k resistors near the level trimpot. These are 1k4 as shown on the image in the doc.
The level trimpot should be 20k, not 200k as shown on the PCB.
Everything else is the same as far as I can see.
