His bass player is so cool, as are the singers.
Right! Michael Rose has it going on. He's played for a lots of names, he played with John Mayer before Pino I believe. Anton Fig is a fantastic drummer.

It was a great show, the setlist was mostly new stuff and some covers, just got paid, parts of dazed and confused and one other Zep song that they also covered. I thought I'd post some videos since I post pictures last time. The first is the show opener, that's why it's black at first.

I approve of the knobberation of this device.
Thanks Alan, I was trying to match the rest of the design....Knobberation....

I bet you can drive anyone within in 50 metres distance into insanity with this and the finest bottle of Klein that you just pumped out... ;D
Knobs galore. Needs more cowbell, maybe...

Great build of course.
Indeed. A cowbell pedal would be just the thing. A dual cowbell pedal would be insane!!!

Build Reports / Duelin Herbies

I've had this board for probably 2 years now. I'm working on clearing out my old boards. I built this probably over the course of a month, I've found it helps reduce errors. It's a great pedal, bits it's as easy as the meatball to work. For those who don't know, it's a doable Chris dual filters with an oscillator. One filter open and the other closes. The bottom left is an order switch switch to give you different combinations. I thought the subtle Herbie theme was the way to go.

Super slick and well done! Great layout and getting all those controls out is great!
I just noticed that, I love it.

Hmm... They should carry some of those super scarce 10kc 9mm pots that only Tayda seems to have and is always out of.
This! I have an alpha dog and I can't find one so far. Mouser, Tayda and small bear, 0!

That looks fantastic man. I have a big cheese that I built out of the Osh Park section.

Ok, so from what I was able to find, the op amps were hi audio quality low noise distortion  and they only come in SMD. Here is the data sheet.

Cool, thanks. That makes a lot more sense
Several were asking about it, and then I began to wonder myself.

Awesome job!

For instructions and insight into what everything does, don't forget about the interactive clickable "How it works" diagram on the website. There are some extra details that are not found anywhere else when you click on different parts of the diagram. You can click on almost every part of the pedal And the diagram to see the pop up info

I had wondered about why the use of smd parts as well. The only conclusion I could come to is that it has a bunch of layers and it must have been easier to do it that way, but IDK.

What are your voltages on IC 2 like and do you have another you can throw in there? They're very sensitive, I went though 3 troubleshooting my total recall.

So impressive.  I chickened out and paid the extra money for the pedal.  It's still in the freaking box lol.
Who was selling them? I took it slow when I was building mine. Fortunately, I fixed mu mistakes as I went. It's any easy build overall; there aren't that many parts.
