I might, I'll have a look to see if I can find anything.

^Awesome, thanks- I like the sounds of the circuits you build, so I'll probably also dig your jigs.

... :o  That's insane. Great job on all that work. This has the most anything I've seen in a single pedal.

^I've been thinking about the Klein Bottle since jimilee posted this build yesterday, trying to describe its function in one simple sentence, and the best I can do is, "The Klein Bottle is a guitar pedal that is used as a back-bone to build a BIGGER pedal out of OTHER pedals."  -But without the other pedals, it can't do anything at all, truly a unique enigma- I'm jealous of anyone who's built one.

Thanks for sharing, jimilee!
I checked out the videos, it can add eq to a pedal, it can add. Dry mix to one that otherwise wouldn't have it and tails is a feature that everyone seems to like and running effects parallel, as opposed to serial, is a nice feature. Outside of that, you wouldn't operate it without another pedal connected.

So, R12 and R13 will not change the effect. If that's correct I'll try it! :)
It won't audibly change the effect, just the blindly LED. Just socket the resistor and see if you find something you like.

I played in bands for a goos portion of my 39 years. I have patch cables,
maybe too many.

^Nice!  Judging from the demo I watched, it takes around 45-50lbs to get started with the Klein Bottle.

Have any of your bands past/present got any tunes I can check out?
I might, I'll have a look to see if I can find anything.

Nice one! Welcome to the club. Check out this post for a consolidated list of the features and look into Peter's suggested modifications.
Yep, it's a lot to take in. The send to 1 or send to 2 is still a little complicated to take in. A video is most helpful.

Curious,

Why the use of the SMD parts? There is clearly enough room for through hole. Was it because those parts are only available in SMD?

Excellent build Jimi. I also stopped on the SMD solder bridges however, I then supposed they were needed.
I don't even know, but I wondered myself. A lot of the parts are bunched up though, so I don't mind. I wondered about the solder bridges also.

I just found the problem.  Somehow the track between R45 & IC7 pin 8 had been severed.  No continuity there.  Thanks so much, Thomasha, for turning me in the right direction to spot the fault!  Thanks for your help too, Jimilee.

David
Nice! Enjoy it, its a great delay.

Correction, looking at the layout I can see how the VD gets to R45.  I'll have to look closely at that area.  Thanks.
Do you have the BP cap in the right spot?

Just finished this beast and it freaking works. I just knew it wasn't going to, you have to build it completely without rocking it before boxing it. Peter's video was super helpful, now I just gotta figure out how the damn thing works. I bought the "Kit" which is basically just the hardware.

Where do I even begin to troubleshoot? I have audio, no sweet and regulator gets really hot.

Edit: Hooray for protection Diodes!!!
