Problem solved. Just a dodgy solder on the footswitch.
It's always something simple!
Thanks for the help Jimilee.
Nice! Happy to help.

I've been buying mine on eBay for 4 or 5 years now. The sellers user name is mynestegg out of Savannah Ga.

Jimi, do you know the brand name he sells?
Nope, it doesn't have one on it when it gets here. I like it because it doesn't stretch and tear apart like some of the ones I've used.

The last place I lived, the power would surge at night and things would him when I tested them, very annoying. Hey, that clear light you have in that thing, what's that for? If it's to reduce noise in the circuit, switch it to a green LED. That may be a source for the noise.

Filter then drive with an order swapping switch.

Have you tried a different pt2399 yet? They are a crapshoot sometimes. It may be time for an audio probe to see where the noise is introduced.

I use ePro tools. Super handy.

Yep, with the 1 to 3% tolerances resistors have, you won't have any issues.

I'd really like to have / build one that I didn't have to build on Vero. Anybody know of one?

"This daughterboard can be used with any of the effects in this blog which use the CA3080, including the MXR DynaComp, Ross Compressor and Keeley Compressor."
Does anyone make the Emma PCB? I've been thinking about building one for about 4 years now. That's a lot of vero. I could do it, but I'd like not to. Hi jack over.

Sounds good. I built several of those and kept one on my board. Definitely not a noisy pedal. Probably a loose connection. How are the input and out jacks. If it does it turned off, I would start there. And then test the switch with a DMM.

Lots of things really, got pics front and back along with voltages?
