It's a double envelope filter with one filter always swinging up and the other swinging down both in autowah or LFO mode. The filter is a modified take on the Lovetone Meatball.
One thing I did notice, you only put 18 knobs and 6 switches on it. I feel like you weren't really trying. You could get at least 12 more knobs on there.
I'll make sure to try harder for the Triple Herbies
Challenge accepted. I can't wait to finish it.

I got antsy and ordered the kit, he was down to 4 kits, and I didn't want to have to wait on a possible restock. Has anyone built theirs yet?

I thought it was 24v, you running yours higher for more headroom?

Das ist gut! You running it at 27 volts? I'm about to build mine in the next week or two. I was gonna use a 125bb but if you think a 1590b is good then maybe I'll cram it into a 1590g with 1/8" headphone jacks and use adapters with my guitar cables lol

That was a typo, I meant 1590BB. I used a 1590BBT. A 125BB will swallow this circuit. It is 27volts, I put it on the top to remind myself. Otherwise, I would make myself nuts trying to figure out why it wouldn't work.
Nope, the recommended power adapter is the 27V EHX. The DMM comes with the same. The voltage regulator takes care of the extra 3 volts.

Everyone that has done one has done a similar finish. Here's mine. I wired it true bypass, I was still getting faint delay the other way. I did the 660ms mod by adding a 47pf between pins one and three of the clock. I'm thinking it probably would have fit in a regular 1590BB.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is this dueling herbies thing?
Double envelope filter with an LFO, It was designed by diablochris.

1590XX is what I used.
That's what I got for it. As I build it, it seems to be getting bigger and bigger, so I wasn't sure.

Chris is the best.  He must be playing hooky from his teaching duties today. LOL.
Not playing hooky. Let's just say that I enjoy a video to show the class as much as the students do.

Try this for a template https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CWR9WwZphmUA6YEJ1ITG1JiOMcDhgCTJ
Mind the orientation, but the size should be right.
Thank you sir. I am not looking forward to drilling that thing. I need a few more pots to finish up. 18 knobs and 6 switches, wow.

If you give me a bit, I can make one up using my Eagle file.
That would be awesome and very kind of you Chris.

Open Discussion / Dueling Herbies Drill template / guide
February 03, 2020, 03:51:16 PM
Does anyone have a drill template or something that you used when you drilled your dueling herbies? It's got a F*** ton of knobs and a stupid amount of switches.  Any help is much appreciated.

Cool, I was also looking at tag board, I like the way this one looks.
