I sit and run through the current problem I am trying to work out, it may be a pedal, it may be a paper I'm writing or guitar scales. My tinnitus also tunes out any noise that's going on.

Have you used a pull down resistor to remedy the pop?

Man, that looks great. And your first build is a 1590a, kudos.

I have built several myself, 2 of the day 4 or 5 I've built haven't gone anywhere. That, for me is a notorious crap shoot no matter how good the PCB. That's no help, I know.

Tech Help - Projects Page / ZPSDX2 no delay
August 28, 2018, 01:59:23 PM
I got some audio but no delay. Just a lot of clicking. My voltages check out with the build doc.  As far as I can tell, the clicking is introduced in IC1. I've swapped it out but the same results. Help a guy out?

That's a beaut!  Those are words that wouldn't even enter my wife's brain, let alone leave her mouth.

Gotta admit though, for 299....  just saying, that's a steal.  I really like that the neck bucker is moved back towards the bridge by what appears to be about 3/4 of an inch or so.  I'd have to think it takes a bit of woof off the neck.
It still has some woof on the neck, the tone knob responds nicely. I haven't had a chance to really crank it up yet, but I finished a kraken build right when it came, so I tested it out with that. Very responsive.

So, my wife says, that's pretty you should buy it. I need a new guitar like I need a new front door. As a matter of fact, I could use a new front door more. Anyway, it was a SDOTD for 299 poplar body. Color is called Turquoise Mist.

You're looking too close. Put it on the floor  and see how it looks then.

Like one of these with the 10K trimmer used to adjust the collector resistor of Q2 (the part that is an 8.2K in a stock Fuzz Face). Maybe the trimmer is in series with the 4.7K resistor.

I'm positive it is a silicone fuzz face. Now I gotta figure out how to make it sound good.
