When you get frustrated, put it down for a day instead of eventually melting it down.

If you are testing it outside of an enclosure, you have to ground both the input and the output jacks.

Dang that's another thing I totally forgot about!!!! I didn't do that when testing it outside a caseI will definitely give that a shot after work today. Needless to say I will feel quite silly if that turns out to be the culprit.
Quote from: culturejam on May 03, 2018, 01:28:55 AMI felt another disturbance in the force. It's nice to be able to do things like this isn't? Those look great man.

I never understood the complaints about Tayda's thinner leads. I find them easy to work with, they bend way more easy and make for good jumpers on vero boards. Love those thinner leads!

So that begs the question, where are you playing your 3k les Paul?Quote from: TheDude on May 09, 2018, 08:50:43 PM
Again, a fully subjective opinion though.
Totally agree, and I respect your view.
And frankly, I wouldn't spend $3k+ on a brand new Gibson either. If buying new again, i'd probably look for a previous year new old-stock for several hundred less. The only Gibson I've bought new was exactly that (closeout from the year before).
