That's Brian's board, yeah?  How did you go with any reported squealing - I've got one I need a 220n to finish off along with a BuGG BE-OD that needs boxing.

Overall opinion?
It is. I haven't turned it up high enough to make it oscillate. I play more Bluesy stuff, so not overly driven.

They look great Jimi lovely and clean.  I've never built a BYOC which is weird considering a video of their OD2 is the kit which made me decide to have a go at building pedals.
You should definitely build the OD2—it's a classic! They might be willing to sell you just the PCB if you can't bring yourself to pay for a full kit (which I usually can't). Putting two stomps on the short side of a 125B is a recipe for disaster anyway, at least with my size 14s...
I will take a look, thank you. In the meantime, here's a bi comp I recently finished. I agree, 2 stomps are too much unless you want to stomp them at the same time.

Pretty awesome overdrive/ amp sim. It's really crunchy sounding. Again, too cold to paint and my printer was giving me a hard time.

That sounds really good, that's a lot of money for a non gigging musician though.

For the Flying pan.... did they REALLY make their own vactrols (as their store claims), or just scratch the part number off a commercial one. The pic looks dubious.

They had them made. Their enclosures are made for them also.

So, these are a few BYOC pedals. They came out with just a straight classic phaser, so, of course I had to build it. It's true to form of the original script phaser, I went a head and put the 22k on a switch. The art isn't great, my printer decided to act stupid, and it's too cold to paint.

The next one is a clone of the FP-777, the call it a soaring skillet, Ibanez called it...wait for it.... The Flying Pan.

The problem with a 3 in 1 ina1590BB is foot space. Does this guy have little feet? Don't get me wrong, I love multis, I have done many, one had 4 stomps and 4 switches, things got right in the top.

My apologies . The schematic doesn't and the pcb picture with the audio path  looked like it does, that's my mistake.

Have you tried using a diffused red led instead of water clear?

Well the LED is only there for testing, to show that the opamp isn't doing its job. I am using the recommended vactrol for the effect.
The other one between the two pots. The effect uses an LED and a Vactrol for compression. I was having probably let the same issue you were, I bet I read the BOM about 10 times before I realized what it was saying.

Leaky cap is the first thought. Pictures, voltages, tube or solid state amp.

Genius move putting the vactrol underneath.

Sounds to me like one of the 1/4" jacks are grounding out, you get a bad one occasionally.
