I just saw a video, 5 mods you can do to your strat I think, they suggested getting some foam like you get in the box when you buy pick ups, and cut it circular to size, put it on the pot and then push the knob down on it. I've never had a problem myself, but now I know why the video exists. I love the fat head on that thing.

Some background would be great, what PS are you using? How is it wired up? In a box or test rig? Have you measured the voltage on your PS?
