Check your soldering, reflow all your joints, they should look like little Hershey kisses. There is one joint that looks like it was missed entirely.

I kinda go back and forth. If I play one guitar constantly for a couple of months I totally don't mind the strings being dead and I even start to prefer it. But if I pick up another guitar that already has dead ones I hate it.
True story. I have a guitar a friend lent to me, and the strings are dead. I haven't touched it. It's an awesome neck thru ibanez. I can't stand dead bass strings at all.

No, I would not recommend it. You really need that 100mA on the -9v rail and the MAX is going to tap out at around 40mA, IIRC.

I'm putting your recent order in the mail tomorrow morning so if you need an LT1054 let me know. Pretty sure I have a few of them :)
I really do. I think I'm on the verge of bringing my rust bucket to life. It's been a comedy of errors so far.

Can I sub the lt1054 for the max 1044? pinouts look the same unless I'm missing something. As a side note, if you put the regulator in reverse, you can blow some electros.

I've used hot glue no issues, if you use enough, it will stick to anything, electrical tape, foam tape, blue painters tape.

Who among us hasn't done something stupid? Were all musicians so I'm guessing none. That being said, what he did was wrong and shows you how fast a tiny lie can snowball. He is a stand up guy for making good on his deal, may or may not have sold all of his gear.  No, wouldn't buy anything from him especially since he doesn't own any gear, but we all know more than your average pedal buyer. Interesting article. Whatevs, just thought I'd throw my 2 ohms out there.
