Build Reports / Bryce Canyon Delay
August 08, 2016, 01:35:08 AM
This is a Deprofundis delay on Vero. It's a really clean delay Rej designed and one of my favorites. It's for my brother for his birthday. I threw it together in about 2 days. He took the picture on a 3 week vacation he took on his motorcycle, and this is part of Bryce Canyon, it was one of the highlights of his trip.

Would that explain why I've blown 2 electros?

I've compared data sheets, tell me if I'm missing something, but they are interchangeable, yes?

Please test a few caps and resistors with it and your dmm and let us know how acurate it looks. I wish I had something to test caps, but then I just talked with a very experienced electrical engineer and he was giving me a hard time about being so specific about part values, particularly caps.

If you've seen the original pedal, this is funny, or I think so. This was meant to be very humorous so be kind. It can be used with a 9v or 18v adapter. Why? Because it was there. I used the boner boost mod.

Its internal and 5 is recommended, I think Brian said it decreases the audio going in to the 2399 to prevent distortion you normally get as the repeats fade. Don't quote me on that though.

Nice! I love the graphics. You're a machine with as many projects as you get out. Takes me forever!
Thank you. What I do is build Til I run out of parts I need, then start another and so on. The the Tayda coupon comes up, I get everything I need to finish all of them.

There are a few threads I think in the tech section for testing rigs, they're fairly easy to make. Also, jmkpcbs.com had a testing rig board.

I spray the decal with a couple of Ciara if clear, this make it a little more stiff and easier to slide off. I then soak both the enclosure and the decal in the same container, and I use just regular cold water, I found warm water makes the decal want to stretch when you're sliding it off. I let it dry for about hours on top of a cup or something that will let air flow through the underside as well as the top. It's fairly quick and easy.

Easily peeled off of what, the enclosure? After mine dry, I use rustoleum clear rattle can.

Have you read Brian's baby board guide? Lots of great tips.
