I rarely tin at all, too lazy. Put the wire through said hole. Iron on 1 side of the wire, solder on the other side of the wire.

I have some dimarzio PAFs in my ESP LTD 401-V that I love.

I used one with my bass and never had any issues. Check your component values and your soldering. I never changed any values for bass.

This was my first fail many years ago, I've decided to not let it hang over my head. A smoothie and it fits nicely and sounds like a phase 45

Next is a stagefright. I sold the first one I built. The next one never would work right, this one sounds fantastic. I decided not to top mount the jacks because that's another headache altogether in this build.

Awesome! Like the sound?
I do, it's kind of a unique sound. There is a double pedal with a G2 and this one on the Cornish website, I haven't done it yet but it's very interesting.

Yep, blue are pretty blinding though. I'd go with the standard red.

Where did you get those knobs? They match the real deal that i had on mine (that was eventually turned into a hairpie by Ron neely then given away) I wonder if you can get that clunky nasty huge footswitch
Glad you noticed them, for me, that was the icing on the cake. Somebody here was making custom knobs for a while, but I think has since stopped. Probably find them on easy or maybe pintrest.

Love the eyes awesome graphic.

How does it sound?
Sounds gnarly in bass and guitar, I've always liked it. I've put it in several multis but never a stand alone. It's sounds like a civil war but beefier.

Mudbunny Green Russian style. I've had those knobs for a few years and finally have a chance to use them.

SO I guess the answer then is no there is no fix for it. You can use a 9v adapter on the outside. Solder a battery snap to a DC 9v power plug.

Have you checked it with a multi meter? I have days where the power spikes up past 9v and makes a terrible noise. Irritating really. It goes without saying, but are you plugging it in close to anything? Mine buzzes also when it's too close to my fluorescent desk lamp. At Rej's house (Grindcustoms) line work was being done down the street making his gear buzz. I guess I'm saying it could be coming from anywhere.
