New Lightsaber Day!!!! This is just as cool as a new guitar. My kids bought a 3D printer, and this was project no. 1

Generally people fear and hate on what they do not understand. There is a deeper more rooted cause if you want to delve in to it. Generally I've found that people that can't afford off the shelf pedals will diss them, because they can't afford them. When you get in to a group of like minded individuals, it feeds the monster. I constantly tell my youngest  son that just because you don't have or come from money, you don't have to act like it, your just every bit as good as those people. You don't need pedals, but it opens up an new world of creativity if you have access to them. Just my two ohms.

It's not analog, so the sea urchin will be good, just be very picky with the pt2399 and try to find one with the least amount of noise.

Sometimes if I have components that don't fit the socket perfectly I solder one of the leads into the socket after I have decided which component to put in there. That way the component is still replaceable but it wont fall out.

Sounds Luke you've got a grounding problem, and the chip may be toast.

Oh, if you bought it like that  for more than fix it up money, you're right man. I'd definitely cut my losses and send it back.

Thanks, don't tell anyone, but I'm learning how to transition from bass player to guitar player! I've been playing my whole life, but it's time to get better. I'm making use of all these pedals I've built.

Build Reports / NGD this time I built it!!!

So the story here is, I got a loaded American strat pick guard in a PIF at Christmas. Recently a fiend gave me the body and neck, thinking the body had a miss drill issue. I didn't experience any issues, so, on with the build. I wanted to make it a hard tail, but it was routed for big block, so I just tightened it all the way down. I've only got about 100.00 in hardware total. Sounds like an American strat, got the action pretty low, so it plays well. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but it's very light weight. Anyway,

That is cool looking. Is it a double fuzz? 2 big cheese pedals?
