How dare somebody clone a JHS pedal!? The nerve!
Right!!! That's their job, other wise you're just cloning someone else's clone...

Hey Jimi.... The Schotkey is in the right way?  You're using the correct polarity supply?
Try reflowing the diode or switching it out for a new one. I don't know what else it could possibly be?  Good luck.

Steve.
I was thinking the same thing, it's just a barrier diode anyway right? I figure I'd remove it and see what happens.

Love this.
Clear coat it well. I'd want that to last forever!
Now teach her how to play bass with it!

Seven? Wow. My 14 year old daughter just asked me to teach her how to solder and I was hesitant. This is very inspiring.

Steve
Hey steve, we started with soldering wires on to some strip board, after a while she was doing well. So I looked for a simple project with as little parts as possible and the EM drive fit perfectly.

Is this possible? If so I have an issue. The anode side of my schotky Diode reads 9.4 the cathode reads .2

Here is an EM drive, nothin fantastic, but my 7 year old daughter soldered every component, I did the wiring, and of course she did the outside. I'm too proud, she is so smart.

Check continuity to ground from where the led is now wired.

Seems like Jon had a story about a similar type situation with a metal frame jack. Nice catch.

Sound like either one of the jacks is wired backwards or you got a bad jack
