So here is my latest new guitar. It's a little Indonesian tele that I play at home because I am a bass player and have no need for stage worthy guitars, but I'd do it in a heart beat. I had a big 100 lb peavey tnt amp I no longer used and moved it about three times from house to house, so it had to go.. I like it, sounds great with my tweaker head and Marshall cab.7

I'd say just about all of us have. I built a box with my must have effects for grab and goes, Juan builds concept boxes, it's great fun.

My favorites. But on my bass, I just made new homes, it's not like I'm gonna be taking the new pick guard off and the hikes are so shallow anyway.

The yellow wire is your out to whatever is next, I haven't completed followed the thread but shouldn't it be connected to lug 8 instead of 7? That would explain why you have no clean signal only effect.

I don't see any solder coming through those holes. I'd  reflow everything.
