Now I'm pretty darn sure of my components.
My Cave Dweller worked before I added the taptation, so I'm guessing it must be the taptation board.
The Cave Dweller layout has a 5.1k resistor coming from pin 6 of the PT2399, should I be connecting that resistor to where the taptation is supposed to go to pin 6?
Quote from: chromesphere on August 08, 2014, 05:51:40 AMMy toggle is easily accessed so it souls t be an issue, I just do t want to blow nothin up!
Cool mod, looking forward to hearing the outcome! I would open mine up and try it, but you know...im afraid to do that...
Quote from: brand0nized on August 08, 2014, 02:48:27 AMYes but not in the circuit. The usually have markings on the top. I'd just go by that. I'd start with the resistors first though.
On it!
But can I measure capacitor values with my multimeter? My box caps aren't labeled.
Quote from: madbean on August 06, 2014, 08:45:34 PMI got ya. and then if it does work, a spdt on on toggle. I'll check it out. I'm not gonna fry anything am I? That would suck a bunch.
I actually never tried that. But, one easy way to test it to see if it will work: flip it over to sample/hold mode then put a small resistor between lugs 1 and 3 of SW1B of the DPDT. I don't know the exact resistance to tell you, but I think you will need some rather than a jumper. Try 2k2 or 4k7.
Quote from: Ubertech_s on August 07, 2014, 06:31:15 PMI had to learn it at some point also. Glad I could be of assistance, now build a kick ass delay.
Simple really when you put it like that
Thanks
