Sounds like modulation phaser style!
It sounds great! In the demos you can "select" the frequencies that are accented in the sweep.
i love phasers!!!

Open Discussion / Re: Audio vs Linear

In layman's terms, a log pot typically gets louder at the end of the rotation, a linear pot gets louder throughout the rotation. :-)

It's not really a huge deal, metal film 1% resistors are just more tolerant of changes and don't fluctuate as much as 5% resistors do (hence the names). I just use whatever I have on hand

Just finished Griny's electric boogaloo today. It's a stutter trem with a volume trimmer you can turn into and external knob,

The trannies stay in place no problem. The issue comes from adding and removing it. The socket then becomes loose. You can tack solder one leg into the socket if that happens. That happened to me ;ast weekend as a matter of fact. I settled on  set of trannies in my wah, and then replaced the sockets. The other thing is more "rare" trannies, you may want to pull and put into another pedal. As a pedal builder, you'll find you have built way more than you will ever use.  :D

I did a PCB layout for it that works. I can post the files if you want.
Like the eagle files? that'd be great.

Did anyone ever do a vero of the ROG Phozer? looks pretty cool. Phaser and a wah mix.

Lots of stuff on the bench.  Good times.  So much soldering lately that my tip on the iron needs replacing...switched to another stubby backup and have a new ETS on order for the Weller WESD51.

So you're making the layout bigger?

Another swah and a sharkfin, maybe an electric boogaloo
Is the S-wah from GPCB? If so are they cool?
Yep. I've built one, and bought several boards, but I keep selling them. I found a board in my stash I didn't even realize I had. They are very cool indeed.

Lay the components on the top and mark it. This works for me when there is no template. Just do the inputs / outputs  and DC jack last after you get the pots on and mounted in the enclosure. DIY baby!

Sorry, I should have explained better in my first post. I don't currently have the enclosure, nor a drill press, so I wanted to order a pre-drilled one from Pedal Parts Plus. The only thing is they require a drill template before they will drill one for you, and since I couldn't find any styles there with 2 ins and 2 outs, I thought I'd check here. I've seen people whip up really good drill templates so I was asking to see if anyone was able!
Oooohhhh ok

Is start with pictures, but it could be just faulty soldering in the foot switch, or a bad switch  that got over heated.

You should not lose volume with the tone pot. In fact, when you turn it clockwise you will perceive it as louder when working correctly. This is actually more of an auditory illusion due to how our ears hear high and low frequencies.

Also, let me caution against putting a 1M resistor on the input jack as jimilee suggested. Doing so would introduce the resistor into your bypass signal which could load your bypass signal. There is already a pulldown on the circuit board so this should not be necessary.
Yep, I thought about that, and with a pull down in there already, there's a bigger problem, leaky cap?
