Man! Remember how you guys made me order something from Lawrence back on page 5 or 6? Well the stuff arrived today! I wasn't expecting it for at least a week longer...

Yeah but you guys are on the same side of the pond. I'm halfway around the world.

3 day express every time. I load up on stuff and take full advantage of it.
Merely details...

Nice build Jimi.

I was the other one who did a Phase 45 into a 90 with the Van Halen theme. I remember when I built mine you said you were building the same combo with the same theme. I've been looking forward to seeing your take on this. I think Scruffie nailed it, more of a Van Maiden theme.

I'll confirm what Jimi has said, it is a great combination. From subtle to over the top and every where in-between.
thank you, I couldn't just go on ahead with the same thing. :-D

This one's super awesome. Also, your guts have improved approximately 300%.
That's high praise jon, thank you. I feel it could have been better, but this etched stomp board was a pita. Tiny holes.

I think i'd have to describe that as Van Maiden  :)

Looks sweet!

How do they sound in to each other?

This is a phase 45 into a phase 90. Both are tonepad layouts etched by the one called peyote.  I was going to go with a Van Halen theme until some one else did that, so I altered it. The light up eyeballs are independent of each other, so the left or right lights up with the left or right pedal.

I agree, you do need to take them apart, but I don't like it from a storage point of view, and one problem is - are you sure you got enough washers/nuts?

I have also gotten my pots from somewhere (probably Mammoth) without the washers or nuts on them. I think I ordered 100+ pots, and only had nuts for like 90 and washers for like 85 of them.

Can't imagine why you would ever have one!...

I'd be down for one for sure!

I bought desolder braid just for kicks, now by the time my desoldering iron heats up I don't need it.
Also, I bought tons of wire from chromesphere and it ally wires longer than I need. You can usually use the short bits you cut off for pots and things.
