Anyone using one on bass? What mods did you do?

Talked to Grindcustoms and he had a few suggestions to change the input cap, the low frequency cut off cap, and tone stack frequency response. Has anyone else built one just for bass?
Yep. sure did. used the mods he suggested, it has a permanent spot on my board. I built a limited run Grind Klone with a booster on it as a matter of fact.

Good question. What do your leads measure if you just touch them together? The wrong leads should measure the same

You don't have a beep when there's continuity and no beep when there's not? It's usually the diode setting.
#6455
Did you measure resistance across the inductor? I used the continuity setting and one set I had continuity and one set of pins I had resistance. That's the side I soldered into the circuit.

Cap Voltage is not a problem, in your photo, noting is wired up, you won't get sound that way either, the volume pot has to be wired to the output jack in order for it to work.

What did you use in q1?  What inductor did you use?

So have you compared the two yourself? Secondly, when you say you made the vero bigger, did you change the layout to accommodate the extra row? What's the other side look like? Your resistor placement goes over 2 rows and the layout only goes over 1. Did you make the cuts?

Pictures of both sides of the board would be a good start.

Sure you're happy with the art, if we mere mortals had access to a laser engraver, we would love our artwork too, instead we have to use rattle cans and waterslide, and dream of being you!  :P Awesome build man! So now the question is, do you have a tiny guitar to go along with your tiny pedals and tiny pedalboard?

Chris is good people. Chuck Norris checks with Chris before he takes your lunch.

Looks nice and the knobs make it !
Thank you. Originally I was gonna use chicken heads for the full retro look, but I was afraid they'd be too big.

Probably 3 to 5 at a time in various stages.always planning and ordering parts, I seem to  always have 15 to 20 pcbs no matter how many I finish. I think they reproduce while I'm at work or something.

They work great for soldering on guitars, nwhen you need a fatter tip.
