Open Discussion / Man, I miss you guys....
December 19, 2013, 10:46:15 PM
Been going through some major changes since getting laid off a second time this year, so pedals have taken a seat way in the back. I've had to keep myself from even lurking, because my love of circuit building tends to make me spend money and time that I don't have right now. And all the banter here really, really makes me want to build.

But I sure do miss the good people here.

I hope someday to be able to actively participate in the forums again, both as a mindless commentator (my specialty), and as a builder.

Thanks for posting to the Osh thread Alan. Not that I have the time and money at the moment to build it, but.....someday. :)

Are you planning on posting to the Osh Park thread?

Davent, there's always the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks album. Also if you're into punk, the Vandals "Oi To The World" album is great.

In a fuzz face, 4.5v is pretty standard for bias voltage.

I'm late getting in on this pcb set, since getting laid-off for a second time this year....and all my resources are going into starting my own business (e-cig shop). But the excitement of this thread is going to make me pull the trigger on it, even if I won't be able to build them this year.

Alan, that description sold me on it.  Sounds like great rainy day music, too

Is that a bias trimmer? You can usually be safe with a larger value, just makes it a bit harder to dial in the sweet spot.

Listening to the clips as I type. I know I'm going to love them.

I've been in a Bob Marley/Peter Tosh  mood lately. Lots of interesting sounds in reggae.
