Might be worth checking out 12voltvids on YT. In the past week he had a similar issue with a rectifier in a Dynaco build.  He also made a video fixing it as well.

What is this? I don't think it was what you intended.

It was inspired by Zappas label Bizzarre. I thought I could adapt and it and screw it up a bit to make the name more interesting.....

QuoteWell, the last place I would suspect is behind the toilet in the women's restroom at the local Arby's but I already have a lifetime ban there and I am not going back to jail.

Oh!?
I meant in your house/workshop....

Go to the place that you are SURE THAT THE PASTE HAS  NEVER  BEEN  AND  WILL  NEVER BE, and there you  will find it.

I always make my holes .7mm, then if the ole is actually bigger I just drill it out to the correct size.

If you a sending your boards out to fab, be careful and make sure they are the correct size.....

Its good to create something from virtually nothing and using it for creative purposes.

I love putting on the resistors, then sitting back and admiring them. Then the OCD takes over and I make sure they are all parallel...

Same with the caps until it is done.

I still hold my breath when powering up, and I have been doing this for 40 years....

Then, SOUND! O yeah!
