I had a few of these laying around. Will they work on the pinball ?

You live in UK?  Jump on thomann and grab one of those t.c. electronic honey pots. Thomann has them for twenty-something bucks.

You can also get nylon/plastic hole plugs in various diameters that are very low profile and snap into the hole. Good for a spot that may not need nearby redrilling, makes it look like a hole that will come into play for a future option, planning ahead.

Or you can leave them open as tone ventsTM

Nice. I never thought of a ported pedal. That would let the caps breath a little.

Wouldn't all the electrons fall out ? Jeeze.....

Think of pad 1&3 as a flowing river
Pad 2 is the bucket scooping up water

VFE Projects / Pinball question
March 16, 2019, 01:25:51 PM
I want to build a pinball so it can be used as it was designed. But was wondering if I could add a loop as well. Let's say I want to modify only a big buff in a petalboard arrangement. Should the loop be on the eq, or the muff?

I've seen plexiglass spacers on some of the enclosures (under the lid)
Does somebody make these, or are they a custom made thing?

It was supposed to be a graphic etch test  but the paper failed

Back in the day, Blue Diamond Almond made short stubby cans. Perfect for hardware.

Everybody also had the revolving baby food jar wheel of doom

Desolder a radio shack pcb and you will see exactly what Brian is talking about. Lol

EEV blog does a bunch of cheap reviews

Otherwise I usually trust Circuit Specialist

Open Discussion / Fart'n around at the bench

I was trying out some new printer paper for enclosure etching. Turned out a huge failure, but I had all the gear out for messing around with salt solution so I started playing around with that like a mad scientist with a arc welder

Test 1 was a 6v battery and that was a joke (slight fog)

Test 2 I snapped 2, 9v's together and hit it. This time i masked off a area to see a definite line

At this point I was ready to clean up and go towards a copper sulphate solution tomorrow.
I look over and see soy sauce on the counter.  Hmmm

Test 3, 18v & soy sauce. Believe it or not, it had the best reaction so far and a little quicker.

Tomorrow the copper sulphate comes out along with bench power
