Good to hear you solved the problem, I used a 2.2m resister , I cant remember where I read that value but it works ,a light mechanical click is better than a loud pop ,

Great job nice and neat, do you have any issues with noise? I may give this a go ,just finished the newest Aqua boy and that sounds great no issues at all and the xvive 3005s are great

Hi there d5 is on top, r 46 was incorrect in the instructions ??47k which is what I originally put in it worked well but then read it should be 4.7k so I replaced it with a 50k pot seen top left of the pic,I found that with certain pickup selections things can get muddy and with this mod I can adjust it and the signal clears up .

I was told that dpdts and spdts are not directional , if that is wrong then that may be my problem the dpdt is the wrong way around ??? I have re-flowed my solder on them , before I tried to desolder the dpdt but the solder has gone through the hole and my desoldering gun cant remove enough solder to take it off .

Chorus mode and vibrato mode work well but when I  use the switch to  modern mode while chorus is switched on  I get  vibrato only, it should still  be chorus ,with The switchable
JFET input buffer adds brightness, more volume and increased
intensity to the overall effect ,according to the instructions .

Hi there I finished  my harbinger pedal and it really sounds nice only problem is when I switch to modern mode I get vibrato not chorus , the c/v switch works normally , I have the 2013 board can anyone help.

I find the vibrato on my build is ok, not to thin sounding but when I''m in chorus mode and switch to modern the chorus [phase] sounds like a vibrato there is an increase in volume  no phasing though .I built the 9v regulated version but use a 12v adapter for more headroom   and for r46 I use a 50k pot this acts like a contour pot .The modern -vibrato problem existed before and after I changed r46- 47k to 50k pot

Tech Help - Projects Page / Re: Collosalus won't flange
January 10, 2015, 01:24:39 PM
When I  first plugged my collosalus in I had clean sound only, I played around with the trimmers eventually I got a little flangeing , Beans instructions are poor for this one 1/4 etc its  should be in clock face much easier to understand his instructions for the harbinger are much clearer , I just have to fix the hiss and ticking now seems to be more chorus than flanger I will keep adjusting the trimmers till I can get those jet sounds.
