Wow! Your pedals are truly works of art.

Thanks guys.

I always use 4k7 for diffused but tried a waterclear blue with 4k7 and now I think I need to replace the retina in my eye! :)
So, just wanted to know if there was a consensus out there for the high brightness LED's. I'm hearing anywhere from 10K all the way to 100K.
I might have to build a tester like davent.

I have a lot of random LED's (sorted by colour) from many different suppliers, diffused/clear, three sizes etc., i check each one before installing to get the appropriate clr and that has ranged from ~500r to 47k. Have a box with 24 steps  from 500r to 18k to test for a clr value.

That's a great idea.
Is that resistor on the left a safeguard so you don't apply to much voltage and burn out the LED?
Is that a 1x12 rotary switch?

These guys are just way to cool. Major mojo. I think if anybody else did all the synchronized moves that Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill do it would look cheesy but these guys just make it look cool.

Hi all. Just a quick question. What resistor values do you use for Led's.
1. For diffused?
2. For waterclear?

Thank you

Hope this helps Bill. They have different colors. I used clear lens with a 10mm yellow led.

This is what I bought.

Steve.

Thanks. I wonder if these are the same one that SmallBear offers.

On further investigation SmallBears are not the same. They are for 5mm LED's, Mousers are for 10mm LED's.

Wow...you guys are awesome. Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.
@Marko....I will see if I can get some recording gear so I can start posting sound clips.
@Bill.....The greatest thing about this community is that we constantly influence and inspire each other to build greater things. If I inspire somebody else, I am thrilled.

Steve.

Where did you get that LED lens? That is perfect for things like this.

Really like what you did with the "Danger Zone" logo and LED. I just received my board and rip you off for that idea... uh... I mean borrow that idea. If you don't mind.

Love it!  Pretty soon you'll have built a dozen. ;)

Now that I've faced my fears I need to do the Riot PIF you sent me. Really looking forward to that one. :)

Nice build. I bet you can play really fast when that's turned on.
