I also don't like rubbers or bewbs, I'm a booty enthusiast.

Solid work.

Jimilee - Post away brother! Photography and Photoshop stuff is absolutely welcome. I'd say pretty much anything is welcome by anyone. No rules, beginners to professionals, etc...

Thanks guys. Colored pencils rock. Still can't find my gravy train with brushes though I keep trying. Mrs. Selfdestroyer looks like a keeper, Sir. Those are dope! I have a friend who does awesome acrylic abstractions, I'll ask if I can post them on here.

Keep it up!

We also spell 'color' and 'favorite' without the letter U. Don't ask me why, I'm not the pedantic type so I wouldn't know.

  ;D

It's a fluffy, buttery, bread thing that's circular in shape and it excels in having stuff put on it. Not much else to say about it. I suppose what your biscuit would be to me is more of a cracker or cookie in the USAia.

I recommend doing some American style biscuits, then covering it in bacon or sausage gravy. It'll click.

Decided to switch it up. Absolutely loving colored pencils right now. Work in progress but it's 90% done. Felt inspired to do a southwestern theme as I'm in New Mexico and love the art that comes out of here.

Another stunning page as usual. Excellent work everyone! It's been a while since I posted so I thought I'd share.

Hasselback garlic potatoes, brushed with butter every 15mins or so.

Baby Broc sauteed in bacon fat.

Beautiful NY strips, salt+pepper, finished with melted butter. Cast iron style. Still prefer ribeyes but these were delish!

The sear. Glossy, buttery goodness.

Mmmmmm.

BBQ bacon burgers with mushroom, onion, muenster cheese. No bbq sauce on this yet.

Peppered turkey and mushroom gravy over biscuits. Literally swimming in gravy, baby.

Turkey simmering in the gravy.

Biscuit with bacon, mushroom gravy and turkey, sunnyside egg with pepper.

pure beauty

Instant love.

Put this on while I had a glass of red on my extended lunch break, don't tell my boss. Fit the mood perfectly on a gorgeous spring day while I sat on an empty patio. Thank you.

After I get done sweeping my jaw off the floor I'll post some pics.

You know how hard it is to follow up with Davent's pics? What the hell am I supposed to do now?

Excellent, guys.

I'd love to do this. Watched this the other day and instantly felt a massive shift in hobby prioritization. So cool. Reminds of RC car racing (I was competitive several years ago) but way, way more badass.

Hey George

There are nearly infinite ways to finish an enclosure. The combinations alone are mind-numbing.

Do you want to..
-Spray Paint
-Adhesive decal
-Waterslide
-Hand paint
- Acid etch
-Transfer
-Swirl dip
-Laser engrave
-Stamp
-Powdercoat
-etc...

It may be hard to find on the forum because everyone has their own method. How do you want to print your graphics? Screen print? Toner transfer? There are tons of people on here with wildly different finishing techniques. Some combinations work better than others. For example, some brands of clear coat react to the base paint in unsavory ways such as bleeding, cracking, warping, etc... Then you have envirotex, raw sanding, the possibilities are endless.

A HUGE part of finishing an enclosure is trial and error and finding what works for you as an individual. I can suggest something fun to experiment with.

Buy something like this - https://www.impressart.com/products/letter-stamps.html
Stamp the enclosure labels with a fitted wood block underneath to prevent the aluminum from warping as you pound the lettering.
Melt a white (or any color) crayon into the grooves you created with the stamps.
Take off the excess wax so only the imprinted letters are filled.
Do whatever you want because it's up to you.
Don't listen to me.

Experiment.

Classy as can be. I want to go to there.

I'm going to throw a molotov cocktail at my 98 Chevy Prism now. Not sure if that would be a waste of vodka or a waste of the car.

It'd be a waste of vodka, obviously.

Congrats!

Awesome Lightsoundgeometry. Art is either very relaxing or incredibly tense for me. Keep it up, I'd love to see more. We both have pyramids, ha.

Here are two of my latest pieces. It was a frustrating and very strange night. I was in a weird mood and hadn't picked up a can of paint in a while so why not? I'm not really sure what to call these so I'm winging it. Stuff got weird as usual.

My girlfriend just booted her crappy roommates and they left a beer pong table. I don't drink beer (gout at 27yrs old, lame) and I didn't much care for the people so I decided to re-purpose it into my strangeness.

Both pieces are 47"x24". Spray enamel, spray acrylic. I let my buddy Andrew put the pyramids on the 2nd piece.

Thanks for looking.

(EDIT - What image hosting site do you guys prefer? I just saw some of my images aren't coming up due to URL expiration. I'll fix them soon)

I try to build what I can for my stompers but yeah, GASing. This plus a Count to Five... who needs a social life anyway.

I've got my eye on this. Thanks for sharing.

Eggroll wraps are fun  8)

Smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, capers, pepper. Fried in safflower oil. Gorgonzola butter was overkill but made for a nice pic, tasted great without it.

Lunch snack for my day off.

Yesterday

Haven't had a box of this since the early eighties so why not, naturally with a yogurt/spice marinated lamb cutlett.
Well yes, naturally. Ha! I love it.

Amazing as always, Sir. Those noodles make me feel ways about stuff. I'd love to try them or even something vaguely equivalent.

BTW, it's getting very expensive for me to send the cutting board to Canada every few days. Long distance is the wrong distance. We may have to cut it in half.

Excellently scrumdiddlicious Dave. Great pictures too.
