Spectacular work here, beneharris. Not only is this a great tool to have on the bench, you've made it look gorgeous too!

Props to Leevibe for the concept/pcb and props to you for great execution.

-A vegetarian couple savored it with passion. I'm proud of em. Warmed my heart to see blood dripping from their lips. Adorable.
Oh don't tell me you're one of those people...

Otherwise, that potato dish looks tasty.

Ha! Not quite sure what you mean.. Nothing against vegetarians, my girlfriend is vegetarian 98% of the time. I'm still stoked our vegetarian friends devoured rare ribeye. It's not a full conversion by any means. They are vegetarian for moral reasons, it's cool they had an open mind to try it. They ended up scarfing it up. Cheers.

-Braised potato medley (garlic, shallot, irish butter, splash of chicken bone stock, rosemary, thyme, S+P)
-Baked asparagus (safflower oil, S+P, about 5-6min @500f)
-Ribeyes (room temp)... smoking hot cast iron pan, dry. 1:45min, flipped for another 1:45 in the oven @500f. Render fat, pull out. Let rest.
-Disable fire alarm (SMOKE!!11!1!)
-Gorgonzola irish butter (50/50, melted)

-Blood, fat, wine, bed.

I take it everyone else "misses that left toin at Alba-koi-kee", then? :)

It is historical fact that many entities both fictional and non-fictional now completely avoid the whole area. They learned from other's past mistakes. Ha.

I'm so pumped. These two artists are touring together AND they are coming to lonely Albuquerque, New Mexico. Usually we get skipped. The whole Austin - Denver - Phoenix route touring groups run gives me a headache.

Super groovy, ultra hoppy instrumental rock. Tight as a tiger, great swing, positive vibes. I adore both these artists. SO STOKED they are touring together.

It's just so... so tasteful. Kinda brings a tear to my eye.

Beautiful graphics.

This thread needs to come back.

Avo aioli - 2 soft avocados, 2-4 ounces homemade mayo, handful of cilantro, quick squeeze of lime, salt, pepper, a little fresh dill.
Put it all in a food processor with 1 large ice cube and blend. You could even substitute ranch dressing for the mayo and skip on the seasoning, comes out great and goes well on nearly everything I've thrown at it. Very fresh, keep cold.

Boars Head roast turkey with oil, cumin, red chile powder, garlic powder, bit of pepper. Marinade 2hr (optional).

Add fresh green chile (salsa works too), sourdough toasting slowly in butter, pick your cheese to top both sides.

ADD BACON (I couldn't last night, Ms. Smoothy doesn't do pork). Great weekday sandwich with minimal prep. The aioli cuts through all the savory really well. I could eat that by the spoon all day.

dude.

DUDE!

So rad. I'm an absolute sucker for pinks/purples. That middle piece is just lovely work, I'd love a print if you have one for sale. Great texture on the background, I take it you had drawn the tree by hand? Gorgeous lines, very flowing and visibly done with care.

The top piece makes me wonder why you aren't designing AAA video game artwork, at least conceptually. I can dig on the minimal color patching, great contrast to boot.

I look forward to seeing more of your art Cloudscapes.

So here's a time-lapse of a simple sphere. This is by no means a full project, just a little something to show the process.

Nothing too wild here but it shows the basics of layering and scraping. Try it at home, don't use too much paint, work in a ventilated area, wear clothes you don't care about. If your paint is too wet it will cause bleeding and rough edges. I like to use a hair dryer to prevent such incidences. Sometimes you want wet paint, sometimes you don't. Contrast and fine lines really elevate a small piece like this. Be quick, get weird.

Nearly everyone has black, white, and color spray paints in their home. Give it a try, if you don't like it just paint over with white and try again. This style lends itself very well to happy accidents so don't get discouraged. Have fun.

Here's the final piece. Enamel on watercolor paper.

@Coda, I really like that series. Super cool stuff! We've got some really talented people here. That was a fun art blog, thanks for sharing.

Here's a quick one I did last night with some new Rustoleum neons I picked up. I FAR prefer Rustoleum to Krylon these days. Krylon has great colors but the caps on them are hinge-style. Rustoleum cans have caps more suited to this style as far as spray diameter and applied pressures are concerned. Krylon caps are difficult to control how much paint you wish to be applied. I attempted to do reflections on the ocean by smearing a some cardboard side to side while the paint was still wet. It was a little too dramatic, I shouldve used a smaller motion and a smaller piece of cardboard. Ended up looking like an island instead of a reflection. Not my favorite, not my worst.

Spray enamel on canvas again.

Somewhat relevant to what we do, here is Bjork talking about her TV/electronics in 1988 I believe.

The way she talks is fascinating. She doesn't even need to sing, I could just listen to her talk all day. She is sooooo cool man. Ridiculously cute.

That's why you shouldn't let poets lie to you.

I also have a Bjork fixation. Her music gives me goosebumps, her videos give me goosebumps on top of goosebumps.

Your little girl has excellent taste just like her daddy. Vespertine is my favorite Bjork album. The official Pagan Poetry video is NSFW, because Bjork is a bad b*tch who doesn't give a f*ck. I love her.

My 4 year old niece also loves Bjork. When I go see Acacia I always put on this video. Thankfully Acacia (neice) and Cady (my little sister/her mom) always approve of Bjork, even if the subject matter can be a little dark. Throwing your body off a cliff just to hear what it sounds like isn't exactly kid friendly but the video is beautiful, also one of my favorite Bjork songs of all time.
