Hey Hex, great looking pedal.  What font did you use and where the heck did you get those knobs?

Thanks man! This is the font;

And I got the knobs from RS Components, I had to buy a few to make it worthwhile but am quite happy doing that.

insanely good looking, inside and out, and thanks for discovering poodle for us. looks like a really nice website

Thanks man! Yeah I've been using Poodle since my first build, he has a great selection and adds stuff frequently and is also a top dude so can't recommend enough!

Poodle's Pedal Parts PCB. Love the fuzz section on this, so heavy!

QOTSA artwork for extra Homme points! ;)

Tight and fat - go for an Afterlife comp feeding a Fatpants, put the level of the Afterlife on a trimmer inside, you can easily  fit the circuit into a 125B or even a 1590B.

That sounds bang on, thanks man!

General Questions / Bass Compressor
February 20, 2014, 07:06:08 AM
Hi guys,

Just had a question about what sort of pedal I would need for the following application;

Basically I run a guitar into a Micro POG and send the Effect Out to a bass amp to sort of replicate a bass guitar. The sound is pretty good but sometimes a bit uneven, I'm looking for a pedal that will help even it out and sort of tighten up and fatten the sound a bit, would a compressor be the right pedal for the job? If so, could anyone point me in the direction of a good DIY project for one?

Much appreciated!

such a great build! the etch is fantastic and i love the LED placement. A+ bro!

Thanks man! Actually got it up and running last night and very pleased with it, albeit only through my semi working 5W practice amp! Seems like the kind of pedal that could have multiple applications though and I'm sure will prove very useful!
