I know ..... I'm a looser.

Any ballpark idea on the price for these kits?

I'm trying to wrap my head around the easiest switching arrangement to allow all the order possibilities between the 3 effects.
Or am I trying to make thing to complicated again?! Is it even useful to try to get more the the switching already provided?
Any input very welcome 

Just updated to eagle 8. Now I have wire names all over my board?
How can I get ride of them?
Google was no help.

The instructions say you can sub the J112 with a 2N5457.
Can I use a 2N5485?

I just matched a bag of about 50 2N5457 (to build my LaserWolf)
I also have a bag of about 50 BS170 (any need to match those? What effect uses those?)
Lastly, I have a bag of about 125 J201 (any need to match those? What effects uses those?)

What can I replace the LF442 with? Something that will not change the expected tone to much.

I remember all the discussions about what kind of caps sounded better. How ceramic caps have horrible audio qualities and tantalum caps to. How a good PCB designs will isolate the power or the digital signal from the audio path.

But now, with the influx of SMD boards, all of that seams not to matter any more? Parts just placed any ware as long as they "fit" on the board. Most use all ceramic and tantalum caps.

Were all these discussions in vain? Was is all BS$@#$ or are we just lowering our standards?

One guy on the DIYStompbox wall getting out of effects building end was selling it all.
The catch, He was in Edmonton and wanted local pickup only.
I'm in Québec......that's far from Edmonton. But I have friends in those parts so they picked it up for me and sent it over.
So 60$ for the deal and about 50$ to ship.

Now I have to sort all this out.......might put a delay in my plans to test the Etcher's Paradise projects. But at the rate Droogie is going...who needs me?

OK got to go back to the pile now.

I got the etching itch bad!
Decided to verify ALL of the Etcher's Paradise projects (except the one already verified.)

Plugged in the etching tank and etched all the boards tonight.

Plans for tomorrow night: Drilling, liquid tin plating and silkscreen.

(Yes I like to add a silkscreen  to my etched boards. Made them from the PDF using Inkscape, pretty tedious....but it's done)

Will report my progress in this thread.
