A 1KC wired backwards WILL work....... BUT.....

It will be backwards. Your maximum output will be at full CCW and minimum will be at full CW  :-\

If you are willing to live with that then GO FOR IT!!

What the hell are you doing there?

Everytime i went there it was just a stop to fuel the plane and continue our way up north.

What the hell is more north?

Grind = Santa??

Dear GrindCustoms...

I want a Red Rider BB gun with a stock and a compass and this thing that tells time!  ;)

I always like to see new builders that actually use heat shrink on the LED leads!!  8)

Excellent first builds!!!

Stay thirsty my friend!  ;)

Open Discussion / Re: Using Shielded Cable

As far as shielded wiring and only grounding one end... a little explanation...

If you ground BOTH ends of the shield... you are not only creating a possible ground loop BUT, you have also just created a rather large RF antenna. This can be VERY bad for wires that carry LFOs or Clocks.

If you use shielded wiring, just ground it on ONE end. Cap the ground on the other end  8)

JRC is Japan Radio Corporation....

They have changed MOST of their components to NJM

Try looking for NJM14558D  ;)

R16 appears to be incorrect (Q3 emitter resistor). Should be 390R and it looks like you have 390K

Let us know

I concur! Good eyes sir  8)

Change that puppy out for a 390R  ;) Also, it would probably be a good idea to check ALL of your values again. In for a dime..... in for a dollar!

Couldn't help but notice that there are NO successful build posts in the thread you linked to.

Could you have possibly gotten a bad board? Unless you can confirm a successful build on that version of the PCB, you HAVE TO consider that and figure it into your debugging equation.  :-\

Swap Q3 with another transistor? Duh... re-read the previous post!  :-[

A schematic would do wonders!!  ;)

If you're just after a brilliant delay, I'd highly recommend the Multiplex -- lots of builds get reported for it here, and for very good reason.

Thanks Alan!

Just ordered me up a Multiplex. I guess the v3205s will have to wait  ::)

Cant wait for the Multiplex now.... shouldn't take long.  8)
