Is is just the tuner that went wrong?  I can't totally tell from the photo, but the headstock doesn't seem cracked.

Nah, no headstock problems. Just the tuner. Not the end of the world, but still...it's been years since I've damaged a guitar. Meh.

That's still pretty lucky. I've seen many-a-Gibson broken off right at the nut.

I think I have fixed the tuner with superglue. Hooray!
