Double Chorus request

$32(US) at Amazon. That's a pretty killer deal. I just watched a demo on YouTube. It does seem to have more modes because you can blend the four modes by selecting multiple radio buttons. I'm assuming it's SMD, could make modding a bit more fun.

For a start, I'd go for two CE2s in series (Purple Rain?), modulate the modulated signal again.
Or make one a Small Clone, individually switchable, plus an order switch.
You could go wild with different stereo options. Probably not for bass, though?

Yeah, this is exactly right and I haven't even bothered to rehouse mine yet. The pot doesn't feel like it's going to break or anything. At some point, I'll probably pull it apart and mix it in with something else. It really does sound good.

Is the Behinger DC-2 clone a couple of BBD's? That could be interesting.
Don't think I will rehouse mine, I dig the big old EHX style boxes.

2 x 3207 BBDs, 2 x 3102 Clocks, 2 x 571 Companders, just like the original, only cool audio chip instead of panasonic.

For $30 or whatever it is (and the price of an original) insane bargain, think the Behringer even offers up a few more tonal options due to the switch type used if i'm not mistaken.
Serious? 30 bucks?  Put it in a nice enclosure and forget it's a behringer, good to go.

So you're talking about Behringer CC300?
Not noisy like so many others of them?

That plastic enclosures of their pedals are terrible.
Never even try to put a battery in (or out again).

No knob twiddling on a DC-2?

Looking at the schematic (http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/diy/Schematics/Chorus/BOSS%20DC-2.jpg) it would be easy to reintroduce rate and depth knobs in the lfo...

Looks like it's monaural.
No hint on the actual architecture (1-2-3-4 serial, 1|2|3|4 parallel, 1|2 - 3|4, 1-2 | 3-4, 1-2-3 | 4, 1|2|3 - 4, 1 - 2|3 - 4, whatever).

Any case, quite different from a DC-2 (two delay lines in parallel with out-of-phase lfo for stereo effect).

Think a DIY project (topopiccione?) and boutique cloner out there do this, the presets seem to have kept people pretty happy though.

4 Analog Delay lines in a box that small!? Yes it is :) I think it uses the Spin Semi chip like most (all?) the Mr.Black pedals but you'd have to check a gut shot to confirm that.

Now... if Brian Did a DC-2 clone with SIP ICs...

There are DIY projects using the Spin Semiconductor FV-1 and external ROM.

For a DC-2 clone I'd rather rehouse that Behringer thingy and add a few knobs (so it's only half cheating).
