Question about the vfe switching board...

question about the momentary mods on the switch board:

is there any external indication to let you know if the system is in latching more or momentary mode?

does it remember the settings after a power cycle?

No, and yes. When you hold down the stomp and then switch to momentary, the LED blinks twice I believe, but that's it. I was building one and got into momentary mode without knowing it. It drove me nuts until I figured out what it was doing. It does remember the mode you're in when you turn it off and back on.
