hi all.i have a new problem im building a lavache for a friend, cos he has kidnapped mine, so i etched a new one, the problem its that i only get clean sound, and only happens when i connect the ring of the jacks, if i ground the rings the are no sound, or noise, the volume pot seems to be working but, i cant figure out what its the problem the clean sounds even if i take out the transistor, i have change the caps, and the transistor even jumper the pots and switches and its the same result, any idea where to start??

Got any photos at all? :) (I like the LaVache, right up there with the Cosmo.)

here are some, but not really good quality, i have tried eveything on my hands, but i cant figure out, how the signal passes the input and get the output, without changing at all.

Odd, the ring of the jacks (assuming a tip-ring-sleeve jack) should not do anything in a stompbox situation.

sorry i missconfunse me, its the sleeve, if i joins sleeves, i get clean sound, if i ground sleeves i get nothing, if i leave sleeve unconected i get noise... its really extrange because without power with the sleeve joined, i get clean sound still, but i know the signal passes the circuit because i unconnected the vol knob and if i jumper that, i get the clean, if i leave it unconected i get nothing

Make sure your polarities are correct. Signal passes when you join sleeves because it bypasses the board all together.

recheck polarities, and its OK, i dont think but, i didnt have 3,3Mohm resistor so i use 3.0Mohm that could affect sound, but i dont think it make the pedal useless

Nope won't affect it at all. Got clear pictures of both sides of the board?

i got tired from checking and doing many things that last night just unsolder everything, and rechecked the pcb to found that the input was grounded, that why i get clean when i join the slevees, and got nothing when the effect was grounded, it was a very small trace of copper in the potenciometer pad, i cutted and im resolding, i think this time its going to work fine
