Bass compressor - ???

What's a cool/good DIY compressor tailor-made for the bass or that could be altered to better suit the bass? I am not a compressor expert. TIA

I haven't built it yet, but I'd say check out Haberdasher's new Zirconia, which has bass values in build doc.

I remember once upon a time someone was working on a Carl Martin Comp/Limiter. 
If they ever finished that, it would be the go to.  My manufactured Carl Martin is a grab in case of fire sort of thing.

Been wanting to do a Lectric project, that just may be the ticket. Also, 'grab in case of fire' is a pretty solid review, lol.
