Hey guys, I have a guy who gave me an 808 reissue to fix. His switch is dying on him (something that's pretty common) and I was wondering if it's a better option to install a soft touch switch in it or install a 3pdt as true bypass. If the later, does anyone have info on how? It apparently uses JFET switching, so I've heard there are some changes that need to happen. Thanks.

A google search will yield some helpful info on this (and the TS-9).
If you're unsure how to go about this mod, you may want to repair it with a replacement switch or skip it altogether. I'm all for diving in and having learning experiences, but I wouldn't advise it with someone else's gear. Trust me, I've been down that road. ;)
I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".
