I built this «stereo» to be able to use it my guitar setup and in the studio aswell. Next phase of this project for wich i'm waiting some parts. Is a piggy back box that will convert the ins and outs HiZ to LoZ to use the unit with line level signal.

Among the 3 IC needed to complete one circuit, there's one TL071, i only had one so i subbed the other circuit with a TL081, it absolutely sound the same! haha! I will try more tomorrow at ear bleeding levels to see if there would be a difference......

That metalic red paint pisses me off, it makes 3 time that i use it and it always «purffle»lolol, I'll set the enclosure on fire later and clear coat it! Revenge Sweet Revenge! :twisted:

In my guitar setup with the style of music i play, i will have a channel of the effect that is always on in the FX loop with the Boost/Gate section in Pre. I will probably use the other channel as an eq for bottom boost or some real harsh setting depending of the need.

Having 2 channel is mainly for the studio use that i want to do, just for the fact of being able to pass a stereo signal in the effect. And that's also why i'm building a signal converter to go with it.

crazy.  nice job.  I built the regular earthling madbean bloviator.  The "More Better."  They work very well with a good quality rig.  If you appreciate subtle tone mods etc.  Really good.

Yep, exactly, i'm using it with my Mesa MarkIV, too tighten up the low end without compromising the «attack».

I mostly play brutal/grind metal, so it's pretty usefull with my 7 string guitars aswell.
