I wanted to hear what the Blackartstoneworks Pharaoh sounds like so I built this one up on an old classic, the Gruntbox board.





It's basically a modded Ram's Head. There's a switch on the series input resistor for hi/low gain, a three way toggle (2 si/none/3 ge) on the second stage clipers and an AMZ style prescence control. It's not as scooped as an EH muff, but not as flat as I thought it'd be.
I was fiddling around with some different things and wrecked some of the pads, so that bit on perf is the Q4 stage re-built off board.
Trannys are MPSA18 at Q1 and 2N5089 at Q2 & 4. Q3 is an old  BC549C.(my favourite)



I like it, but I'll probably wind up flipping it so I can build something else...
