Clips on this are EAGERLY awaited!  :)  Like you, I'm a long time May fan(atic). I've got a couple of broken Pignoses that I've wanted to do something with for a while now; any possibility you could share the vero layouts?

Haha, so it looks like I am making some soundclips this weekend!

Here is the layout I used. I made a small mistake on the board I used and fixed it in this version. My board has an extra jumper and cut. Not the most compact layout but I didn't really mind the large board at the time. Ignore the extra space at the edges of the board; I always start from a very large vero board and end up with extra space. Separate power and audio grounds are tied together at the DC jack. Watch for cuts under R12 and R14.

Here are the transformers i used but I got mine a long time ago from a UK based seller:

VERY nice; I may just have a vero board around here somewhere...  ;D

Okay finally got about 20 minutes to record some stuff before my neighbor gets home from work! My strat is getting grimy, it goes out of tune if I look at it wrong so ignore that  >:(

really, really well done. Hard to believe something so simple can sound so great. Congrats!!

slimtriggers

Holy crap that sounds as awesome as it looks!  Great playing, too  8)

JakeFuzz

Thanks guys. It is definitely a simple one. Didn't take much more effort than many of my stompbox builds aside from cutting down the speaker box. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a sweet sounding little portable amp. The first thing I noticed was how much bigger it sounded than I was expecting.

That is so freakin' sweet! Can't wait to build one for myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
Where do you guys get vero that size?

JakeFuzz

Thanks! I get my vero board from ebay although its been a while since i've ordered any so i am not sure if the seller still exists. This one takes up the whole width of a sheet  ;D
