New to the forum and very happy to be here.
I was looking at the build for the kings layer pedal, and my dumb question is: is the 3pdt footswitch on-off or on-on. I am assuming on-off, but better to look like a fool and have a pedal that works then to guess and have to re-order

Welcome to the forum. The 3PDT switch will be latched (on/off) for this effect. There are no dumb questions in this hobby. Just keep learning with every build and enjoy yourself.

Thanks, the latched switches that I see at mouser are on/(off), so it is my understanding that they are momentary off.

Welcome to the forum. They are 3PDT latching. You can find stomp switches especially for pedals at places such as (in no particular order)

www.taydaelectronics.com
www.smallbearelec.com
www.mammoth.com

Mouser is usually hard to find the exact switch for stomps as well as the prices on switches is expensive. Any of the above places have 3PDT stomps.
