Hi Guys.
just saw a video demonstration of this pedal and i found the sound possibilities quite interesting.
Does anyone knows any build similar to this kind of reverb?
Cheers

that is an awesome reverb, but unfortunately it's super digital. like a big chip with a program on it.
impossible to diy something like that if you don't have the algorithm and chip programming interface.
i really like it too, but i also really like Strymon reverbs

It's one of my favorite pedals, it has been a worthy companion on gigs too.

Any idea what the chip is. I'd love to see some internal shots, but didn't come across any using a google image search.

Hey! that its cool that some of you also liked it!
well, i´ve watched a video on utube were they showed the "best pedals of 2012" of course choosen by someone´s taste.
but the way the guy played (adjusted) the reverb was very interesting.
Well, if a DIY variation is not that great, any suggestion here by MB?
What about the reverb that is integrated in Amps? (i have a Marshall Haze 40W tube).
it is much different that one in a stompbox?
Sorry, for the stupid question, but i was always playing with my Zoom G2.1u and got all the presets easy and saved. Now im getting into the real deals!!!
cheers

Well, I used to play with reverb on my amp all the time, I thought everything else sounded lame, and I hated the clean tone of any amp if there was no reverb on the amp. But reverb is a little like drugs, it can sweeten reality [I'm no drug user, absolutely never tried the stuff] or your clean tone following my example. But after a while I realiyed I was turning it down more and more and now I never use it with my amp.

But, reverb as an EFFECT, as within a pedal format, I consider one that I wouldn't like to live without. As an exaggerated effect it is simply awesome, but for live use, unless you're in a trio or with keys that are really muffled (something like Rhodes) I simply think the verb from an amp makes mush out of my sound especially with overdrives. For live use, there's always some verb from the space you're in, and I never miss it. But as an effect, I think it's absolutely crucial for modern music applications. If you listen a bit at my band's clip that's in my signature, we play a short intro at the start, and it's all spring theory. Sounds much nicer in person but the recording showcases the pedal nicely.

I'm sorry for not offering to open my Spring Theory and take a shot with my camera. It is very well built, I would have to put pressure on certain points I would rather not make so apologies. Worth the money by all means. It does bother me it has no tails option, I mean it's 2014 for god's sake, but it's no disaster.
