Trouble with Fatpants High pitch whine

Alright so I built the fatpants and it sounds great (thanks Brian) but when it is turned on there is very high pitched whine coming through the amp. I have tried multiple amps, battery and plug power with no difference. I compared it with the SHO, LB2, and stratoblaster and haven't had any of the same trouble.

Does anyone know if this is a grounding issue or is it typical of a certain type of part (the IC, or caps).

Let me know your ideas, Thanks Team.

It's an IC problem. Try changing your charge pump. You probably have a CPA ic when you need an scpa.

I think it was just a bad IC. I replaced it with one of the same and it went away......I'm happy ;D

What an easy solution. I believe i ordered one of those CPA chips which means i'll have to order a correct one.

Actually I tried both and they worked fine. It was just the original that gave me a high pitched whine. So as far as I know the scpa and cpa should both work.
