also where do you get those wonderful caps?

I get nearly all of my caps from Mouser.  Which caps are you asking about in particular?

They look like 1uf film caps...maybe Panasonic or poly film. They are the maroon square ones.

Yep, I get those from Mouser.  If you want, I can get you a part number later, but you can find them if you sort by:

Passive Components
Capacitors
Film Caps
Panasonic
5mm lead spacing.

cool man, I'll look for them! Thanks!

I'm happy when I fit everything in a 1590B.
This is so good in and out.

Beautiful build as always.

No tiny guitar yet.  I guess that comes next.  Considering how poorly I play my mandolin, I don't have a lot of hope for it.   ;-p

I humbly submit this as the solution to your problem:

Wow, if you have one left, I'll take it. You just gotta love 1590A builds. I'm always looking forward to your next 1590A post. Keep them coming!

Those are kind of cool, although I might have issues with the size.

Have you ever played one?

Thanks for the kind words everybody.

As I continue to play this, I really dig this circuit.  Nice as a boost, too.
